Enough For The Next Step…

Family, this week I want us to lean in and make God’s Word our priority. Life will always give us distractions—some good, some draining—but nothing can replace time in the Scriptures. Psalm 119:105 reminds us: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Think about that for a moment. Lamps don’t always light the entire road, but they give you enough to take the next step. That’s what God’s Word does—it doesn’t always show us the whole picture, but it provides us with enough wisdom and direction to keep moving forward.

This week, I encourage you to pause and ask: Am I letting God’s Word guide my steps, or am I trying to walk in my own strength? The Word doesn’t just inform us—it transforms us. Every verse you read is an invitation to hear His heart, steady your spirit, and grow your faith.

Reflection: What area of your life needs the lamp of God’s Word right now? Please take 10 minutes today to read a passage and let it shine on that place.

I pray your week is filled with revelation, power and grace.
